Now I walk on my walking pad. Before, I didn’t do anything.

6-7 days a week
7.What’s your reason for watching your wellness?
As I enter the second half of life, I want those years to be active and full of life. I can tell over the past year that my energy levels and engagement in activities has decreased. I really want to turn that around!
8.What inspires your nutrition choices?
I LOVE sweets! In the past, I have done traditional dieting to keep my weight in check. Now I am focused not on eating less but on eating right. I am eating more than I ever have and have not been hungry even one day on this journey. I have even figured out how to make high-protein ice cream so my sweet tooth is satisfied!
9.What are your goals for training?
I really want to lose fat and build muscle.
10.How are you actively working to maintain your mental health?
I see a grief counselor and am trying to focus on getting enough sleep, exercise, and eating better.
11.What is your overall reason for focusing on nutrition, fitness, mental health, and financial health?
I have a family that I love beyond reason and I want to be here and healthy for them.
